Accomplishes so much more than the first and easily the strongest of the trilogy, however some of the acting in this film is just so bland that I couldn't possibly rank it amongst my favourite superhero films of all time. Kirsten Dunst is the worst offender, delivering her lines in a style that wouldn't look out of place in a bad soap opera and James Franco does not do much better, it's a shame to see such lazy acting bring down an otherwise excellently executed sequel.
