Martin McClellan’s review:
I'm a lifelong fan of the comics, and I was sated. The film is true to the spirit of the books, replete with its breezy plotting and humorous action.
Tintin: the world's only reporter who doesn't seem to ever write anything or have an editor. No need, the thin veneer of his life is well draped in beautiful design, clothing and textures that pop off the screen, and even the 3D was appealing and under used.
More like this, I say. Make all twenty-odd of the books and I'll see every one.
