I had to check if I still liked this movie. And yes, I did! The characters are great, especially Redfords’ Hooker. The story has so many surprise turns it makes your head spin. Which is quite an achievement for a movie that more than 40 years old. Sure, it’s a bit slow at times but it’s time that’s used to suck you into the story some more. The only downside: to many men! It’s a real guys movie. The two dames who are in it are erm… well, not pretty! There! Other than that an oldie but very goodie!

I love a good love drama. dr. zhivago or Gone with the Wind. Anna Karenina is also one of them, but this 2012 version is a bit off. It tries to be too much 'Moulin Rouge' in it's set changes. I love how they did it, it just doesn't fit a heart wrenching love story. It makes it all too light. Nightley is great though. If you watch 'A Dangerous Method' right after, you'd think she plays the same character. 

Based on a true story. Weird thing is: I was glad! No one should be coming up with this for a script. Tragic story that happened in 1965, Indiana. It sucks you in and you can feel the tension. Great performances all round but especially Keener and Page.

I found it not very entertaining. This guy thinks he knows everything about life and believes he is right and everyone who thinks differently is wrong. Well, he died. Sorry, but I never had any connection with this boy. There are some nice views of the US, but not enough to keep me interested.
