One of the most, quietly, Canadian films, I've ever seen.

When all of your shots are the equivalent of the single best shot of an entire film, it's great, but you've got nowhere to go, visually. A sad tale, that was fantastic to look at.
A joy, from beginning to end.

The effort behind building the cameras that were used in this film was substantial, and resulted in a fairly unique look. Ultimately their effort, and the potential of the cameras, were wasted on a giant, misogynistic, empty tale.
