Stephen Hinton’s review published on Letterboxd :
Sspectacular visuals yes, but they just end up becoming one large-scale novelty sequence after another. The film fundamentally misses one thing – a story. That’s not quite true, it does tell a story but onethat doesn’t revolve itself around Greek mythology which is what the narrative requires.
I didn’t think it was possible for a sequel to be any worse than it’s woefully dreadful 2010 predecessor but this is, only its incoherently more tiresome this time around.
Opposing Brothers Zeus (Neeson) Hades (Fiennes) end up being portrayed more like 2 ageing ‘Chuckle Brothers’ “To me, to you”.
Note to Warner Bros. Please don't green-light a 3rd film,as theres only so much nauseating & inept dumbness we can stomach.
