Considering that the woefully scripted and brown-colored "Batman Begins" is one of my least favorite Batman movies, I was doubly pleased when Nolan returned with this film that has already proven itself one of the greatest comic book adaptations of all time. In the sequel, Gotham City is posited as the main character - much the same way that Los Angeles dominated "Heat" - as each of our leads fights for its very soul.
