(500) Days of Summer 2009

Holly’s review:
As it states in the opening scene of the film, this isn't a love story. It's a story about life: the way we intersect with someone for a brief time, separate, and do it all over again. Every time I watch this film, I remember why I love it so much. It's hilarious at some points, solemn at others. It expresses the joys of being in love and the pain of being alone in a beautifully tragic way. The characters are purely human and allows the viewer to relate to them in many ways.
Two words: Han. Solo.
Easily the best part of the movie!
I could give or take the majority of the movie, but that dance number was fantastic.
I completely agree.
