I kinda liked it. Compared to 4, 5, 6 and 8, Halloween III was half decent.
The anthology factor is what I like about halloween 3..
I think you're better off looking for third chapters that *don't* suck, because about 97% of them are atrocious.

Beverly hills cop 3! Scream 3 and the godfather 3 were all let doens.
Beverly Hills Cop 3 was atrocious.
Scream 3 was a massive let down.
Both of those go on the list.
The Godfather part III is only let down by Sofia Coppola's lack of acting ability. The film itself is actually rather good and as a story arc, the tragic ending is very moving. If only Winona Ryder hadn't bailed on the film at the last minute I think people would have seen the film for what it really is. It's a shame how one performance can mar an entire film
Rush hour 3 was shockingly bad and Lethel Weapon 3 was too comical than the first 2.
Rush Hour 3 goes on. Was never a fan of Lethal Weapon 3 or 4. The first 2 are bloody brilliant
