Ok, like many others I'm not going to review this without at least mentioning Battle Royale. However I'm only mentioning it in the way that I viewed this film without even having BR in my mind - I viewed it and appreciated it for what it is and a film in it's own right. And I absolutely loved it. Acting from all parties is superb, the subject matter is dealt with excellently, and the action scenes are top notch.
