An absolute blast which looks bloody brilliant in the new UK Blu edition. Brilliant make up effects from maestro Stivaletti, a wonderful soundtrack from Simonetti and a fun at times meta-plot which doesn't take itself seriously but also isn't entirely brainless. Fun.
Nice to hear that the Blu-ray looks good. My Demons 1 & 2 Steelbook just shipped from Amazon. Can't wait!
It's really cracking, they sourced a fantastic print. Will be doing 2 sometime in the next few days.
I have never seen the sequel, but the first one I managed to see on film.
I've been championing this film since I first saw it over a quarter of a century ago - and I'm only 35! I had parents with a liberal attitude to my film watching.
Anyway, Demons has been a mainstay of my collection since then, owning it on big box VHS, sell-through VHS, DVD and now Blu-ray. Love it and won't hear a bad word said against it. Part 2 is great as well.
