The Four Times 2010 ★★★★★

Reviewed Apr 20, 2012

Utterly beautiful, gentle, melancholic study of people, animals and things in an Italian village in the mountains.

This one's a grower - it's very short (only an hour and a half), and at the end maybe you think "hmm, that was interesting, but not sure", and then it GROWS on you, man. It's been two days since I saw it and I can't stop thinking about it.

It's Italian, but doesn't have any dialogue so doesn't need subtitles. It's great, basically.
