A breathtaking experience from beginning to end, this movie creates a bustling world that I could immersive myself in and crave more of it. Although the plot was fairly unclear to the point where I only truly understood what the story was behind Howl until the near end of the film, it felt rewarding to see how the plot would develop from its vague beginning.
I honestly had low expectations for this movie, even though I'd never watched any silent films. At first, I thought the tone of the movie couldn't be truly expressed through the actors' performances and the score. Yet, as I watched the film, the combination of Jean Dujardin's impressive performance and compelling music, I found myself thoroughly entertained by what may seem like a cliché plot.

This film presents impressive CGI visuals and a fairly decent storyline. One of the main problems I found was how fast paced the plot was. It was difficult to invest in the moments within the plot, with moments such as Tintin's search for understanding of the Unicorn and his captivity in the Karaboudjan. Despite that problem, the movie managed to densely pack in action and drama in the right places to keep me entertained throughout, constantly being interested in what would happen next in Tintin's exciting adventure.
