Thomas Brown’s review:
Paul Thomas Anderson has never made an awful film, in fact, all his films are incredible. The cast in this film are exceptional and the characters they embody all have such weirdly engaging 'ticks'.
Tom Cruise's spin as a dirty, foul mouthed Tony Robbins is probably the best character he's ever played, if you can call it "acting". His spiel on taming female anatomy is jaw-droppingly-achingly-awesomely-poetic.
