A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas 2011

Indyan’s review:
A very Harold and Kumar Christmas might make for a fun holiday movie if watched in the theaters. But, on a laptop, its rather dull. The movie has plenty of scenes, which would have looked great in 3D, but fail to charm in 2D.
As always, The story line is nonsensical. However, without the smartness and charm of the original (or even the second) movie, the many of the jokes simply appear stupid and gross.
Much of the first half is wasted in the awkward reunion of Harold and Kumar. Thankfully, in the second half, the pace picks up, and we get to see the more of Kumar's insanities that made the franchise famous in the first place.
NPH only shows up towards the end. However, he again ends up stealing the show. The fifteen minutes with NPH is undoubtedly the funniest portion of the movie.
I liked A Very Harold and Kumar as it retains its irreverence, and never ever makes the mistake of taking itself too seriously. In spite of all the inappropriate jokes, it shines through as a good natured movie.
