Builds to a crescendo of disgust & madness, that made me cringe and laugh at the same time. The last 20 minutes of this blacker than black comedy is unabashedly nasty and wonderfully executed by Friedkin. MVP belongs to Thomas Hayden Church for his one-word reactions to what's going on in front of him. Not perfect, but I loved this almost as much as BUG. If you've ever wondered what it would be like if Rob Zombie directed WILD THINGS or U-TURN, it might have been something like this. Only Friedkin knows how to build tension and have the chaos of these idiotic characters explode to beautifully visceral heights.
