For me, movies are a total escape. If I am going to the theater, I want them big, loud, full of action and stuff blowing up. Throw in a cute guy and a car chase and I am in heaven! Killer Elite did not disappoint. This is an enjoyable action flick and I recommend it.

I have loved Clive Owen since I saw him in "Gosford Park" (a movie which has nothing blowing up but is still amazing.) Pair him with the equally awesome Jason Statham, who has graced many an awesome action flick including my favorite, "The Italian Job," and this is a must see this movie. The two play off each other nicely in this tale of espionage where either side believes they are right but where no one is really sure why they are doing what they do and who are the good guys. Despite his prominence in the marketing, De Niro has a minor role and vastly underused. Dominic Percell, great in the TV series "Prison Break" and Yvonne Strahovski who kicks butt weekly on my beloved "Chuck", round out the cast.
