Batman Begins 2005
Rewatched Jul 20, 2012

At first I didn't like the title and that they were making this back in 2005... I had friends tell me don't go its stupid, boring etc... But when my brother bought the dvd, I was like ok it can't be better than the original batman flicks... Well I was wrong...
Begins: With the cape sound, bats swarm the screen making the BAT SYBOLM....
I love the non-linerness to this story, Opening with him as a child, falling, the bats frighten him, bang! His older, early 30's, its a dream he had, brilliant...
You see Bruce Wayne in a prison, gritty, and gets jumped by "And I'm the devil", yeah beats the crap out of them all, I believe the sixth of them... They drag him away for protection, not for him, for the inmates..
They throw him into a cell, where Ras' al Gul is waiting and watching in the darkness... Liam Neeson was a great fit... This is the moment I love the most, because this is where you knew and known a LEGEND was born...
While Bruce travels, I'll just say the cinematography was beautiful... Nolan and Wally know how to connect visually...
Everything after this, with the relationship between Ras and Bruce is great...
When Bruce finally goes home its when the Batman story beings...
We all know where it goes from here...
Falcone was great.... Scarecrow was perfect loved what they did with him... Katie was good needed a little more but didn't ruin her, Gordon was good needed more but in the later films he's perfect...
Cain was great and gets better, so does Fox...
Four out of Five, one of the best batman movies, maybe the best because its a Batman Film...
And I love Batman turning and going, "And you'll never have to", flying into the camera symbolizing that Gotham will and does accept him... as a hero... maybe....
