I was reading total film the other day when there was a very small review of this documentary it was under a section of movies that changed the world, now I wouldn’t say this movie changed the world but it was very important for one man, Randall Adams.
Is there anything scarier then being accused of a crime that you didn’t commit and being sentenced to death for it?
Randall Adams is on Death Row after a shooting of a Texas police officer, he protests his innocence though it seems likely that the real killer was David Harris, the key prosecution witness.
The film tells both sides of the story from Adams protesting innocence plea and David Harris’s “I was just a dumb scared kid plea”, bent coppers and bullshit witnesses shows that it truly is a scary old world, and Phillip glasse’s monumental score completes this monumental film.
