Having just finished the novel of Battle Royale, I can't help but to be disappointed with the film adaptation. While yes, I understand that everything from the book couldn't be included just because that would make the film at least 4+ hours long. The condensed version presented here is just a mess to me, with some aspects of the book remaining intact (the excellent lighthouse sequence) while others are distorted or just off (what the hell was going on with Sakamochi and Noriko?).

Ethan Hawke and Queen Cersei you both are too good for this...
