Jake Cole’s review:
Spielberg's patience with the narrative pays off in horror as the noble revenge fantasy slowly collapses around his dedicated Israeli strike team until all that's left is despair. The sex scene intercut with memories that aren't Avner's own is irritating (though not as bad as ALL of Saving Private Ryan being a cheat of a framing device), but even that hiccup conveys the utter corruption of righteous fury. One of Spielberg's best.
