This movie was not made by Zach Snyder, but it retains many of his trademark elements. The comic book style, the attention to the smallest details, and of course, the gratuitous sex and violence. I must admit, the movie starts most intriguingly, but soon spirals downhill into a mess of blood, boobs, and weirdos. I gave up on it when I realised I’d seen enough blood and we weren’t even halfway through. Do not see this movie straight after Battle Royale, if at all. Watch a good rom-com to clear your palette.
