This movie, for lack of a better explanation, is very Chinese.
With that I do not mean the dialogue or even the setting, much more the style everything was brought to life.
This is highly stylized look is mostly a result of Kar Wai Wong's Auteur style of filmmaking. This is what gives this movie a tad extra.

This was movie was just beautiful.
It had a way of almost bringing you to tears, and right at that moment when the intensity of the situation was hightest, they would cut away to another scene. Perfect build up.
McConaughey was, of course, amazing in this movie, just like almost anything he does. He has a way of totally becoming his character and it just gives it a much more authentic look.

So I started to watch this movie, not knowing that there wasn't going to be, nor that it was constant Daft Punk music.
Nonetheless, it was pretty good. Shows you how much you can tell without dialogue. And the fact that it was just the whole Discovery album, was quite amazing!
