Why did I wait so long to see this? I'm a sucker for doomed romances, especially when there is poetry involved.

Worth seeing, though I wonder if the 48 fps rate removed some of the magic that comes to mind when considering the LOTR films. Thorin's eyes are awfully lovely, though. Also, Gollum still scary as f*ck.

This movie is perfect.

It wasn't as awful as I had expected. It was still pretty terrible, though.
