Kinda/Sorta All-Time Top 20!
I made this list to participate in the Muriels/Skandies poll with several of my film-buff friends.
I would ordinarily never attempt an all-time Top 20, because that kind of thing drives me nuts. There are simply too many great movies out there, and it really pains me to unavoidably leave off so many films that mean a lot to me.
There are omissions here that shock even myself (no Hitchcock, no Scorsese, no Coppola, no Spielberg, no Coen bros., no Woody Allen, no Nolan...) and rest assured, those filmmakers would be amply represented if the list was expanded to 50 (or even 30). But only allowed 20, I had to go with my gut. And this is it! For now, anyway.

Twist and shouuuuuuuuuuut.
1. Great list, man. My list is jealous of your list.
2. In addition to the titles we share, Boogie Nights, Rashomon, Ed Wood and The Thing would all make my top 100, and a few more would hover around it.

Your list has nothing to be jealous about, haha! And yeah, that poster is awesome! Love the one for CARRIE too.
These lists can be excruciating to put together. I've been able to expand by all-time top ten to a top 25, but it's take so much time.

My top ten was easy, but then it gets more difficult!
Yeah, for me here, the Top 5 was easy. That's been set in stone for a very long time. After that though, it was kind of a free-for-all. So many could other movies could easily fill these spots, but I just had be tough and keep whittling until I thought I had the right ones.
Here's my top 25 if you're interested in taking a look. I'll add another five titles one of these days.
Good List man! You are missing a few and it looks like you only have a few horrible films on this list! I will let you guess which ones don't belong. No Kill Bill?
I think anymore than a top 25-50 would be difficult. Too many films to choose from. Much easier if you keep your list small.
By the way, you spelled Scorsese wrong, jerk! ;)
