Paul Verhoeven and Philip K. Dick is the perfect combination to create a social economic sci-fi message base film, but throw in the mix Arnold Schwarzenegger and what you get?.. a bad-ass sci-fi action film with substance!

Total Recall is entertaining, balls to the wall action from beginning to end, Schwarzenegger and the rest of cast (Rachel Ticotin, Sharon Stone, Michael Ironside, Ronny Cox) embrace perfectly the goal and message of the film.

The ending of the film is one of my favorite, "what is reality", was he dreaming? was he awake?.. is up to you to decide..
