Jeff Caffey’s review:
I have difficulty reviewing movies like this, and I will tell you why: because I have no idea what I think of it. Roman Polanski is a great director, and seeing one of his earlier films and how his style developed over the years is about as much as I was able to get out of this movie. It has creepy atmosphere, great surreal imagery and some pretty extreme violence for a movie from 1965. I couldn't call it great, but it's very good, and definitely worth watching. Especially for fans of Polanski.
