Jeremy Heilman’s review:
Five teens endlessly trek through a forest in this art film that calls to mind the work of Lopez's countryman Alonso and Van Sant's Gerry. Death vaguely looms in the air, making for a film that is at once heavily symbolic, yet withholding of meanings. The characters play word games and sing random songs, but the pull of the forest itself seems to be the main attraction. After a few of its extended sequence shots, you start to feel as directionless as the characters, which may be the intended effect. A roving camera and an audiorecording reveal clues to the nature of the mystery to those who don't zone out, but you might be better off soaking up the atmosphere before the film forces a dopey interpretation upon you.
