Challenging but totally remarkable. Terrible people do unspeakable things in Tyrannosaur, but it never feels sadistic or cheap, or like it's simply ticking off cliches from the Grim Up North checklist. Incredible performances by all three leads, especially Olivia Colman, who deserves every single plaudit available. One of my favourites of the year, without question.
