Why on earth are we supposed to believe both the ridiculous pratfalls AND the earnest emotions that emerge in their wake?

Soderbergh is one who likes to purposely screw with his audiences, and in this, perhaps his final film, one must wonder whether he is screwing us by delivering a hideous schlockfest, or whether he screwed us by making us believe he was such a great filmmaker in the decade that preceded this hideous schlockfest.

Stupid. Narratively discordant. Entirely misogynistic. Not even remotely suggestive.
