Fraser Mckissack’s review:
Love is so elusive in Wong Kar-Wai films, and everything is so hot and sweaty, and sexy. His style is intimate, bordering on claustrophobic, but it works a treat in Days of Being Wild, an unpredictable journey of heartbreak. Unfortunately the subtitles in the version I saw were bloody awful so I'm not really certain what the dialogue is like, although I'm sure it is just as sexy as the visuals.
