I watched The Lords Of Salem last night, I don't really know what to make of it - I knew it wasn't going to have a coherent story - which it kinda did and it didn't, it's also very 'out there'. The music was awesome and creepy, the styling was Argento-Lite and the direction was very John Carpenter.
I did like it, I don't think it has re-watch value though, but I do want to listen to the witchy song by 'The Lords' though haha it was great, sounded Neo-Folk!!!
Kevin Smith Project session 10
Joseph Keenan: People just do the strangest things when they believe they're entitled. But they do even stranger things when they just plain believe.
After the dreadful Cop Out comes Red State, the film you didn't think Kevin Smith had in him, everything about this film is right, John Goodman is insanely good, Michael Parks is even better!
It's not an easy film to watch, it's very intense, I felt very uncomfortable during the sermon…

Jay: I know they were just kids, but we kicked their fucken pube-less asses!
Kevin Smith in "Makes a real film" shocker!
Easily the best Kevin Smith movie even if its just because Ben & Matt are such a good double act, it would be 5 stars if it weren't for the shit demon.
Can't really say anything else about this film... If you've not seen it, check it out.
