Alien is a movie about people looking for a cat named Jones while being stalked by the perfect killing machine. I don't know what's so special about Jones that people are constantly risking their lives to save his furry orange behind, but it certainly makes for a thrilling couple of hours.

This film is an example of a simplistic, but well-thought-out idea flawlessly executed. Even though its my third or forth viewing, its still an excellent example of gripping cinema.…

In all honesty, I wasn't sure what to expect from Flight. I like Denzel Washington, and think that Robert Zemeckis is a competent enough filmmaker. Sadly, with the exception of the plane crash sequence, Flight is tedious at best and boring at worst.
