Not quite as deliriously imaginative as Phil Lord and Chris Miller's modern comedy masterpiece Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, but very much of the same type. Superb genre spoofery, great character work, frenetic pace; a joy from beginning to end. And holy crap, Channing Tatum has a setting other than "flummoxed". Let's hope this is the beginning of a new phase in his career.
