List by John Warrender
My Bottomest Films of 2009
Since coming to Letterboxd earlier this morning I've gone back through old blog posts and added these lists from my own best and worst collections in the past. It strikes me that the constant in these worst-of lists are the Twilight movies. Whatever will I do once they are gone?

I love seeing Precious in here. What a piece of shit that was. The Hangover is really overrated too. I did like The Box, Orphan, Knowing and to a lesser extent G.I Joe. The rest I either haven't seen or are terrible. Good list!
I'm with grooveman on those four. I guess when you have such low, low expectations there's no where to go but up.
Nice to see Away We Go. That'd be my number 1.
Thanks, guys. I've got reviews on all of them; I didn't have time to put them in the list as well. I get really angry the higher the list goes. Lesbian Vampire Killers was my least favourite film of the last decade. It made me never want to watch another movie ever again.
Precious truly is abysmal; hearing that Lee Daniels' next movie got a standing ovation at Cannes made me despair. And yes, Away We Go is absolutely wretched. Highest proportion of awful characters of that year, though I did think Maya Rudolph was better than the material.
I forgot that Brief Interviews with Hideous Men came out that year, too. What a turd that thing was. John Krazinski was really at his peak of sucking that year.
For my most hated films I usually give movies that I should of liked or have great word of mouth a lower score than something that I though I would hate. My two most hated films of last year were easily Bridesmaids and We Need To Talk About Kevin. We Need To Talk About Kevin, in particular, might be my least favorite film I've seen. When rating them I would give them a lower rating then say Nightmare on Elm Street(remake) which is equally bad but I kinda thought I'd hate it anyway. So in your case I'd rate X-Men origins lower than Lesbian Vampire Killers because while I thought I'd dig X-Men I would really think a movie called "LESBIAN VAMPIRE KILLERS" would suck to begin with. I hope that makes sense. I did hate X-Men and haven't seen Lesbian Vampire Killers though. For what it's worth I did like Zombie Strippers.
