Villeneuve has a knack for scale and spectacle like few filmmakers working today, making him such an obvious choice to epic space opera that it almost seems impossible that we lucked out on him getting to adapt Herbert’s seemingly doomed work. It’s a stunning film, where the machinations and (well handled) complexities of the plot never get in the way of just staring at the screen and drinking in the show. Pitch perfect performances from everyone, great action set pieces, it’s a joy.

Green Street Hooligans 2005
It's not as bad as I thought it'd be, but it does contain some of the least convincing mockney accents I've ever heard.
