As a big fan of two quintessential terrible films; The Room and Troll 2, I assumed Birdemic : Shock and Terror would be a great film to sit down to. Sadly this was not the case because, while the other films are terrible they still attempt to pass themselves off as real attempts at film making, Birdemic does not. Whether it be the clear lack of knowledge of a boom or that more shots exist than a pan or a track, Birdemic fails where these other films succeeded.

Written, directed and starring Seth MacFarlane, the creator of Family Guy, Ted sounded to me like a great idea. In the past I have been a big fan of Family Guy and MacFarlane's other work, however, this time all the jokes fell flat and so I finished the film unfulfilled. Maybe my comedic tastes have become different or as I grow older I realise that the comedy of MacFarlane really isn't that funny. Either way Ted was a dissapointment.

So much fun, although it could have done with some greater twists. The old gods thing only made me think of Hellboy which wasn't something I really wanted to do...
