On second viewing (now eight years later), it's much better and more enjoyable than I remember. And I liked it the first time around, more than most probably. I'm surprised at how well it's held up, seeing that it really was the first of its kind. It kind of saddens me that we don't see more movies like this and that take risks at the multiplex. Kerry Conran deserved a better fate.

Plus, can you imagine any other filmmaker who would simply use Angelina Jolie as a little-used supporting character who wears maximum clothes and an eye patch?
