The Campaign 2012

Jeremy Wilson’s review:
The Campaign is probably the summer's biggest missed opportunity. Sporadically amusing, occasionally funny, but mostly very underwhelming with a pathetic ending right out of the Happy Madison playbook. Will Ferrell was much funnier than Zach Galifianakis (I'm not a huge fan of the latter) and the film's best joke was in the closing credits. A lot of lazy writing too for a film with a pretty great underlying concept. Plus, a total waste of a really good supporting cast. Should have been better, period.
