Cube has an interesting concept riddled with B-grade acting and poor direction.
This is a film that could have had any set of characters so it is as much about the characters than anything else. When it tries to mention the theme of the film, it is laid on so thick it becomes unintentionally humourous.
I liked the mathematical parts of the film even if there is a struggle to showcase them in such a medium. It certainly seems to have been a precursor to what the Saw films have become.
The Reverence: Colourful cubes.
