The first half hour drags a bit, a lot of set up, perhaps to much. But once you get to the Turkish Bath House sequence the movie becomes a lot of fun. The fights are done in close up and a bit shacky cam but there's enough pull back that they still feel brutal. Not the best villains, but you're watching this for Stallone and he's great.

A somewhat convoluted plot, to many characters and the first half hour drags, but the last half hour is fun and the kind of action one would want to see in a Schwarzenegger film. Many shots are quite nice and some of the comedy works. A rather mixed bag but I came out feeling positive about the film over all.

How this is considered the worst of the trilogy, I'll never fully understand. Is it as good or better then "Raiders?" I don't think so, but it is my favorite in the series. Maybe it is the darker elements, the fact that compared to "Raiders" it is so different yet still an Indiana Jones movie, but I love it.
