Interesting to go back and re-watch this one after some time away from it. A lot of things still work great, and a lot of stuff just kind of doesn't.

Olivia Williams and Schwarzenegger are pretty great in this and some of the shoot outs are pretty thrilling. Sadly the rest of the film is made up of a cast (who are good actors) playing terribly obnoxious people. There's nothing wrong with being unlikeable characters, but usually what makes us watch unlikeable people is there's something compelling. There's not much compelling with the team. And most of the film is Schwarzenegger with them.
There's also many scenes that just seem strange or out of place, even seen as a whole, things don't quite come together.
How this is considered the worst of the trilogy, I'll never fully understand. Is it as good or better then "Raiders?" I don't think so, but it is my favorite in the series. Maybe it is the darker elements, the fact that compared to "Raiders" it is so different yet still an Indiana Jones movie, but I love it.
