Kafka 1991 ★★★½

An odd film, like a lesser "Naked Lunch", a film that no doubt inspired this one. It's weird and different, but perhaps not enough, whatever that may mean. But I think Soderbergh should be commended for being daring enough to take on a project like this after "Sex,Lies..." showing that his modus operandi of taking on projects that are not alike started at the beginning. Jeremy Irons gives a great performance. And the film going from black and white to color does look good. Worth a watch if you can find it.
