i've rated it 3 1/2 - the half star is the michael fassbender bonus.

i really liked "prometheus". don't watch the movie, if you want to compare it to "alien" - because it will naturally fail. instead watch it as an independent sci-fi movie who happens to play in the same alien universe. the plot wasn't so thick, it's pretty predictable but the actors - especially (of course!) michael fassbender, who really puts life and character in a lifeless android and plays (as f*cking always) just brilliant, and noomi rapace, whose character is authentic and pays a nice tribute to ellen ripley. ridley scott hasn't created a masterpiece but concerning directing science-fiction movies, he's definitely back on track. i can't wait for the sequel!
