inspired by another user (silentjoe13), i've put my own movies that made me cry list together. i cry a lot during movies and if i watch the movie again, i'll cry at the same scene again. i cry when i'm touched, when something in the movie deeply moves me (music, dialogue, cinematography whatever), when i can relate to the characters or when the story is sad.

good examples are the endings of "a single man", "into the wild" or "gran torino", the rain scene in "the shawshank redemption" (and the ending), the plastic bag scene in "american beauty", the music and atmosphere in "gigantics", rutger hauer on the roof in "blade runner" or cary grant's speech in "holiday".
