In Their Sleep 2010
The hallmark of a good thriller is one that's given a lot of thought beforehand, so there aren't any inconsistencies or plot-holes that would pull the viewer out of the film and effectively kill their investment in it. I have a total soft-spot for this one. I grew up loving it, and not having seen it in a good decade or more, I was worried that my nostalgia would be ruined, but it really wasn't. Fire and Ice 1983
This is another one I'd oddly never seen before, and I really dug it. It totally felt like a 70s barbarian comic book come to life. The rotoscoping used was really impressive, more-so than any other film I can recall from around the same period.
