When the Hunger Games first came out, I wasn't sure about the film. The storyline seemed so basic, and I couldn't understand how it got so big. However, after deciding to watch the movie, I'm so glad I did.

I loved so much about the film, the characters, the action, the storyline. It seemed like a film I shouldn't like, but I love it. From describing the film to others, the storyline seems so bare, and it almost sounds like a boring film. It's a film that shouldn't be good, but is.

Katniss was played excellently by Jennifer Lawrence, and I loved the drama and action portrayed by the character. The only thing that let me down though (although I only found out after the film) was that the film missed out a lot from the book, and the book (which I am currently reading) has a lot more drama and suspence, which I feel could have been included in the film. Once I finish the book, I will watch the movie again, and may add to this review anything I missed out.

Nevertheless, I am definitely looking forward to reading the next two, but more importantly watching them. I just hope they include more from the book this time.
