Gorgeous Michael Fassbender gives an arresting performance as a Manhattan sex addict. Director Steve McQueen's movies kick you in the gut, but in a good way.

Beautifully photographed and acted, plus filled with interesting ideas about psychoanalysis, sexuality and relationships—classic Cronenberg. Highly recommended.

The perfect post-Thanksgiving film to see with my family, the new Muppets movie satisfied my itch for funny felt though it's not an instant classic. Highlight: Camilla and the chickens performing Cee Lo Green's "Fuck You" but changing all of the lyrics to clucks.
