One film per group unless there's a compelling reason to expand it. The one-man-band is no longer acceptable. Surely there must be more films than this. Help! Why don't more bands make films!

@Phil Thanks for these, they raise the interesting question: is a solo artist eligible for this list. It seems like it might be a mistake and I'll end up with every film LL Cool J has been in (a serious problem). That does question the inclusion of 8 Mile... I'm going to remove it.
