The neat thing about this is how it changes genres as you age. It's a romantic comedy in your teens, a horror film in your twenties, a drama in your thirties, and after that it is a science fiction movie about an alternate reality where Katherine Heigl would keep a child after getting drunk and shacking up with an unemployed dude that looks like Seth Rogen. Movie's like an onion. Has layers.

Dumb and Dumber To 2014
Offensively lazy waste of time with maybe three decent jokes that get lost in the haze of callbacks and frustrating writing that makes the main characters into unlikeable sociopaths.
Also, what the hell happened to the soundtrack? The original movie had so many moments that were made all the more memorable with tracks like "Crash", "The Rain, The Park and Other Things", and "Boom Shack-A-Lak", but the sound design here doesn't even try.
Sad.
