I was really looking forward to this one, as I thought the design of the characters were fantastic. Sadly the movie was not the kind of kid film that also works for adults, but instead just one gigantic cheesefest with a lot of uninteresting action to be cool and hip. Eurgh, no thanks.
The first half hour of this movie is amazing - a 5 out of 5 - but then starts the steady decline in quality. At the end the stupidity and bad choices from the filmmaker is almost too much, bringing the general impression of the movie down to mediocrity, which is a shame. If only the incredible beginning could have carried through the entirety of the film.

Sure, I had liked all of the previous Marvel films (minus The Hulk) and especially loved the first Iron Man, but the whole concept of putting all these heroes and villains in the same movie seemed like a train wreck waiting to happen - but it didn't!
Other than the movie being a bit too long it was pretty much the perfect super hero flick. Everybody got…
Just rewatched this on Blu-ray after a few years away from it and I remembered why it's one of my favorite films - this is just so watchable, so fun and so completely ridiculous you can't help loving it. Big Trouble in Little China is the perfect "guilty pleasure" if I should categorize it.
