The Poughkeepsie Tapes 2007
The movie has it's occassional hiccups, to be sure, but it is so skilled at building an overwhelming sense of creepiness and dread, and delivered in possibly the most whole-heartly application of low-budget found footage that I find myself wondering if this might be the best movie I see all year.

Killer Joe 2012
Starts a little rough as it tries to find its footing with its odd sense of Texas quirk mixed with deadpan black humor, but man, after the first few scenes this movie really starts to churn towards an altogether terrible and awful place that is so delightfully amusing I just might have peed my pants with enjoyment.
Also, I will never eat K Fried C the same way ever again. And I am a better person for it.

Your Sister's Sister 2012
Can't say I recall ever watching a screwball dramedy before, though most of David O. Russell's work would probably fall into this niche. Can't say enough good things about this film, great performances and an engaging story filled with very dry wit.
